The Tandem Stand is a great balance exercise. We do this all the time in our classes and it's really popular.

Better balance means you can feel confident and steady on your feet. It's easier to go out, see friends and actively participate in life when you aren't worried about your balance.
When you are doing this exercise, remember to:
- Stand up tall
- Look straight ahead
- Stand next to a support which you can hold onto (just in case you feel unsteady)
