Do you know anyone who feels unsteady on the stairs (especially when out and about)?
Many people are fine going down the stairs at home, but experience great anxiety or difficulty when faced with stairs in train/ tube stations or other public places.
Age Space asked me to write an article about this for their excellent site.
In this article, I share tips for recognising this problem in people you know (they might not want to tell you). I also include three things you can do today to help someone you care about who may be feeling unsteady on the stairs.
Please share with friends and family who you think might find it helpful!
