Walking Well: Big Strides

Would you like to walk for longer without needing a sit down? 

Would you like to feel more powerful when you're out walking? 


There are a few simple things we can do when we walk, which will help us to feel steadier on our feet and stronger when we're out walking. 

We learn to walk when we're little and then we don't really think about it for the next 60 or 70 years. However, if we start to notice ourselves tiring or feeling unsteady, then it's a good time to think about 'how' we're walking. 

When we improve our walking technique, we can walk a little faster and go a little further.
